The Story:

  • Dolfi, Ami, and Stella work and finish their schoolwork, and they are happy.
  • Listo finishes a race, whether ending in first place or last place, and is happy.
  • Though it’s sometimes lots of work, Dolfi finishes a puzzle, Stella gets on the swing, Listo holds a pencil, Ami uses scissors and Jelli glues paper, and they are happy they finished their tasks.

What We Learn:

  • By watching the characters start and complete tasks, children learn the importance of persistence.
  • Through the feelings shown by the characters when they finish the task, children can see that finishing what they start can make them feel proud and happy.

Why it is Important:

  • Each character shows pride and happiness at the end of their completed task, showing children how it can feel to finish.
  • Children build a strong sense of self-esteem by persisting and completing tasks, especially when they are hard.
