  • When Ami needs help and raises a hand while working at the desk, the teacher comes to the desk and helps.
  • Dolfi raises a hand to answer the teacher’s question and gets a turn to answer the question and share work.

What We Learn:

  • Raising your hand in the classroom will help you get a turn to share what you’d like, ask for help or answer the teacher’s questions.
  • When we raise our hand, people know that we have something to say.

Why it is Important:
