The Story:

  • • In the morning, Dolfi and Jelli help by getting themselves ready for school.
  • At school, all of the characters help by erasing the board, setting the table for lunch and cleaning up.
  • After school, the characters help at home by feeding pets, cleaning and reading. Mom and Dad have chores each day, so doing chores helps the whole family.
  • When all of the chores are done for the day, Listo gets to play a family game.

What We Learn:

  • As we grow up, we get to help our families and teachers by doing chores each day.
  • Doing chores is fun, and when we are finished we get to play.
  • When everyone helps with the chores, they are fun and are easy to complete.

Why it is Important:

  • Children gain a sense of responsibility and importance when they complete chores at home and at school.
  • The characters are excited to do their chores and complete them happily, showing children that chores can be fun.
  • When children see the whole families participating in chores, they can understand that they have an important role in their own families as well.
